Successful completion of this course renews your Cal/OSHA Title 8 Certified Rigger Level 1 designation for another 2 years. You must have a current AMC&S Cal/OSHA Title 8 Certified Rigger Level 1 certification to be eligible for this renewal course.

NOTE: If it is past the 30 day grace period of the expiration of your certification then you must re-test. To do so you should exit and purchase our Cal/OSHA Title 8 Certified Rigger Level 1 course which includes the written and practical exams.

NOTE: New regulations went into effect on December 17, 2022 - under ASME B30.5-3.1.2.2 Qualified Riggers (“Certified”) are required when working with any type of Mobile Crane including Crawler Cranes, Locomotive Cranes, Wheeled Cranes and any variations of cranes that retain the same fundamental characteristics of 1 ton or more. Qualified Riggers must pass written and practical examinations (“Certified”).

Please note: Although ASME defines this person a Qualified Rigger, OSHA is very clear that the employer is the only one that can determine if you are qualified to perform the rigging activities at hand.
