Successful completion of this course renews your Rigger Level 1 designation for another 2 years. You must have passed the AMC&S Rigger Level 1 course to be eligible to renew your designation. And, be within your 30 days grace period for renewal.

NOTE: New regulations went into effect on December 17, 2022 - under ASME B30.5-3.1.2.2 Qualified Riggers (“Certified”) are required when working with any type of Mobile Crane including Crawler Cranes, Locomotive Cranes, Wheeled Cranes and any variations of cranes that retain the same fundamental characteristics of 1 ton or more. Qualified Riggers must pass written and practical examinations (“Certified”). So, if you are involved with rigging for one of the above-mentioned cranes, you should proceed to our Certified Rigger Level 1 course.

Following completion of this course the student may choose to take the Certified Rigger Level 1 Exam to earn the designation of a Certified Rigger Level 1 which would fulfill the requirements of ASME B30.5-2021 and OSHA 5-3.1.2.2 Qualifications for Riggers.
